We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2019, at the age of 86, Emily Lacy (Auburn, Alabama), born in Marion, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emily Lacy to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Hopkins and Mattie Alieze Christenberry; her siblings, O'Neal Christenberry Massey, Eloise Christenberry Holifield and Johnny H. Christenberry; and her great grandchild Madison Rylee Sullivan.

She is survived by: her husband Fred; her daughters, Mary Cynthia Lacy Judy (Ron), Patricia Ann Lacy Campbell (Mark) and Emily Elizabeth Lacy Kvicala (Mike); her grandchildren, Lisa Judy Sullivan (Beau), Laura Catherine Judy, Lacy Elizabeth Campbell, Abby Riley Campbell, Chloe Ann Campbell, Michael Patrick Kvicala, Cannon James Kvicala and Reagan Elizabeth Kvicala; her great grandchild Parker Elyse Sullivan; and her siblings, Boyd E. Christenberry and Margaret Christenberry Mayfield Brown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Emily Christenberry Scholarship Fund at Auburn University School of Education.
