He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Laure Juette and Thelma Evans; his wife Pat Johnson Evans; his children, Laure Evans Christie (Stephen) of Vestavia Hills, Ala. and Jeff Evans (Shannon) of Auburn; his brother Jack Evans (Anne) of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Caroline Christie Umbach (Swede) of Vestavia Hills, Mary Hayden of Vestavia Hills, Hannah of Vestavia Hills, Claire Christie of Vestavia Hills, Jake and Katelynn Evans of Auburn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tallapoosa County Sheriff Girls Ranch, 174 Samford Drive, Camp Hill, AL 36850.
