He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Norris and Frances Norris; his brothers, Swain Norris, Van Norris and Noel Norris; his sister-in-law OnetaShaw Norris; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Betty Lou Jeffords; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Jeffords Tolle, Celeste Jeffords Stephens, David Earl and Jimmy Jeffords.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jeffords Norris; his daughters, Karen Norris McCauley (Tom) of Auburn, AL and Carmen Norris Jordan (Matt) of Auburn, AL.; his grandchildren, Lieutenant Thomas McCauley, Jackson McCauley, Dwight McCauley, Joseph McCauley, Caroline Jordan, Harris Jordan and Maggie Jordan; his brother Mark Norris (Debra); and his siblings-in-law, Melinda Norris, Pam Archer, Raymond Jeffords (Helen), Rachel Settle (Vince), Bettie Ann Matthews (Jimmy), Elaine Tatum (Mike) and Phillip Stephensand John Tolle.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions all attendees are encouraged to wear a mask.
His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God sustained him in his struggle with Lewy Body with Parkinson's Dementia and ultimately offered him peace.
