She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Butler and Hanzel Butler (Edwards); and her husband William Billˮ Cordell II. She is survived by: her children, William Cordell III (Kate) of Oakton, Virginia of Auburn, Daniel Cordell (Mary Eileen) of Auburn and Elizabeth Cordell of Auburn; her grandchildren, William, Quinn Cordell of Oakton, VA, Maggie and Daniel Cordell of Auburn; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Thornton (Steve) of Charlottesville, VA, Judy Paul (Eddy) of Alabaster, AL, Jan Cordell of Montgomery, Robert Cordell (Karen) of Pintlala, AL and John.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (1100 N College St, Auburn, AL 36830). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
