He is survived by: his wife Candice Edwards Avera (Candy); his siblings, Nancy Sartin Avera (Mike Richardson) and Bruce Avera (Donnie); his nieces and nephews, Caty Nation Avera (Sean), Lena Vera Cooper (Drew) and Meredith Anne Avera; and his grandchildren, Sullivan and Tessa Nation.
