It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Covington Maurice Dinkins of Auburn, Alabama, who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Trudell Brown of Auburn, AL; his children, Marcus Andrews (Antoinette) of Marietta, GA and Jessica Long of Lanett, AL; his sister Darlene Dinkins of Auburn, AL; his nieces, Kizmet Dinkins Calloway (Dennis) of Auburn, AL and Deandrea Dinkins White of Mobile, AL; his nephew Teddy Dinkins of Opelika, AL; and his grandchildren, Jayln Long, JaMarian Whatley, Janiyah Thomas, Ja'Miracle Bailey and Kenly Mitchell. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In an order and following the ADPH recommendations concerning (COVID-19) effective March 28, 2020 to keep the community safe, the funeral service will be for the family only.
