She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence Strickland and Jeanette Strickland; her friend Janice; her husband Robert L Mitchell; her brothers, Will of Ozark, Ala, Leon of Ozark, Ala and Alex; her children, Dr. Christie Cobb (Bill) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jared (Kahlia) of Canton, Georgia; her sisters, Wanda Whaley (Larry), Shirley Tadlock (Dorsey), Carolyn Vance (Gary) and Janan Doster (Larry); and her grandchildren, Brennen, Luke, Eden Beck of Little Rock, Adalie, Briden and Huxon Mitchell of Canton, Georgia. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine to further clinical research related to nutritional interventions for Alzheimer's disease.
