With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Trammell of Auburn, Alabama, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dr. Jeanet W. Trammell; his children, Lawrence Charles Trammell (Chucky) and Stacy Trammell; his parents, William Trammell and Susie Trammell Slay; and his stepfather Gordon Slay.
He is survived by: his daughter Marie Butler (Jodis); his grandchildren, Jamison Williamson and Melissa Spriggs; his great grandchildren, Kylie Williamson, Kinsley Williamson and Ella Cate Spriggs; his great great grandchild Kingston Williamson Parker; and his siblings, Kenneth Slay (Jean) and Sue Sharp (Bill). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home & Crematory (1801 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
