He is survived by: his wife Jean Mann King; his son Charles King (Leslie); his grandchildren, Catherine and Charlie; his daughter Meredith King Wilkinson (David); his grandchildren, Ciera Price (Rob), Samantha, Andrew (Victoria) and Nichole Wilkinson; and his sisters, Barbara Green (Howard) and Carolyn Gholston (Van).
