It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Shell of Auburn, Alabama, born in Georgiana, Alabama, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Florence Brown and J. D. Brown; her husband Wayne Shell; her brother James Brown; her sons, Ben and Dan (Mary); and also, Mason Wayne Shell (Rachel), James Daniel Shell, Sara Jean Shell and Annie Ruth Epps.
