She is survived by: her daughter Lois Heard of Waverly, AL; her grandchildren, Felita Madden (Jason) of Beulah, AL and David K. Heard of Columbus, GA; her great grandchildren, Jaleyah Madden and Jaethan Madden; her children, Willie Mae Green of Tuskegee, AL, Ora Lee Brown of Florence, AL, Dorothy Joe Greshan (Thomas) of Tuskegee, AL, Lucille Miliner (Charles) of Dayton, OH, Fannie Gilbert (Alonzo) and Alberta Floyd (Harold) of Electic, AL; and her nieces and nephews, Shelly Carreker of Valley, AL, Rebecca Lockhart of LaFayette, AL, Linda Faye Moss of Opelika, AL, Robert Lockhart Jr. of Waverly, AL, Willie J. Lockhart of Opelika, AL, Timothy Lockhart (LaChandra) of Auburn, AL, Kelvin Lockhart of Syracuse, NY, William Lockhart Jr. of Sanford, FL and Marvin Lockhart of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Pelia Missionary Baptist Church (377 Lee Road 78, Camp Hill, AL 36850). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
