With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doyle Chaney in Auburn University, Alabama, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Melba Stallings Chaney; his children, Curtis Doyle Chaney (Pam), Joan Bynum (Curtis) and Janet Mauldin (Allan); his sister Mavis Chaney King; his grandchildren, Molly Bynum Cook (Ben), Celia Bynum Osborn (David), Lacey Chaney Barnes, William Chaney (Addison) and Olivia Mauldin; and his great grandchildren, Emma Kate Cook, Hannah Cook, Sam Cook, Anderson Osborn and Teddy Osborn. He is also survived by his family and taught his children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
