He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Sweatt; his daughter Angela Barnes; his parents, Ruie Sweatt and Lola Sweatt; and his siblings, Ovia Busha, Gene Autry Sweatt and Bufford Sweatt.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Fulenwider (Wade), Kim Griggs (Glenn) and Stanley; his grandchildren, Brandon Fulenwider, Haley Moore, Kristi Cobb, Adam Davis, Chase Autwell, Brittany Engleburt and Blake Barnes; and his siblings, Terry Sweatt, Jerry Sweatt, Ruby Church, Mary Morris, Louise Maddox and Sarah Tilley. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
