It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Lee Moore of Attalla, Alabama, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Moore and Josie Moore; and his daughters, Kathy Moore and Dana Childs. He is survived by: his wife Diane Lemons Moore; his son Steve Moore (Beverly); his stepchildren, Melina Jones, Butch Diffee (Mary) and Prissy Diffee; his nephew Mark Rakestraw; and his pet Bama. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital, ASPCA, or St Jude's Hospital.
