He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Hyde Bowen and Carl Bowen; and his brother Jimmy Smith (Larry Smith). He is survived by: his children, Eric Blake Bowen and Shae Coley (Kevin); his nephew Jamie Smith; and his grandchildren, Peyton Bowen and Brantley Higdon.
