He was predeceased by: his grandfather Stanley; his parents, Leonard Burger and Grace Burger; and his siblings, Clarence Burger (Audra), Erston Burger (Ann), Dorothy Smith (Gene) and Pat Burger.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah Richey Burger; his sons, Bryan Burger (Shannon) and Craig Burger (Tammie) of Whorton's Bend; his grandsons, Corey Burger (Jenna), Sam Burger and Luke Burger; his great grandchildren, Kate and Drew Burger; and his sister-in-law Idora Burger.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Morgan Funeral Chapel (625 Gilbert Ferry Rd SE, Attalla, AL 35954).
