He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt and Ruth; and his brothers, David and Kenny. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his sons, Sloan (Kendall), Cain and Caleb (Molly); his grandchildren, Lacey, Taegan, Blaise, Jonah, John-Mark, Hannah, Noah and Dylan; and his siblings, Marvin, Doyle, Gary, Glen, Linda and Judy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
