She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Simmons and Louise Simmons; her siblings, Jerry Simmons, Dorothy Simmons Ward and Marie Simmons Elliott; her grandson Dustin Keith Chapman; and her daughter-in-law Trina West Chapman.

She is survived by: her significant other Harold Ray Chapman; her children, Kathy Chapman Hill (Rickey), Hellon Chapman Thompson (Ken), Robert Ray Chapman and Lonnie Keith Chapman (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Stacy Cotner, Jeremy Chapman (DelLynn), Brian Chapman (Ashley), Laura Chapman Miller (Joey), Brandon Chapman (Candice), Leigh Ann Hill Mendez, April Hill, Anthony Thompson and Zachary Thompson. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
