She was predeceased by: her parents, Jodie Rutledge and Danah Rutledge; her sons, Robert Garrard and James Garrard; and her daughter-in-law Vicki Batchelor.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Garrard (Kaye) and Johnny Batchelor (Pam); her grandson Wade Batchelor (Emily); and her sisters, Mildred Marchman and Dot Snow (Bobby). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherry Street Baptist Church at 520 Cleveland Ave, Attalla, AL 35954.
