We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2023, at the age of 76, Lesley L. Portwood of Attalla, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie Portwood and Auburn Portwood; his children, Linda and Daniel; and his siblings, Eugene and Glo (Belinda).

He is survived by: his siblings, Gay-Dan and Rita-Lynn; his daughter Stephani; his granddaughter Courtney; his nephew Van; and his nieces, Kristy and Tanya.

“I feel blessed to have shared time with Mr. Portwood while he lived in Florida with his loving son Dan. I truly loved Dan since his early days in Florida at Vector. Dan spoke of Les often while he stayed with my Dad and I. Years later it would be I that could share a roof with Mr. Portwood in Florida. He always had Great stories, telling them proudly at House he and Dan worked so hard to make a Home, or at the kitchen table serving up his famous (to me anyway) Meat Sauce with Pasta!”
