She was predeceased by: her son Gregory Lee Arledge; her father Robert E. Arledge; her grandparents, Leroy C. Arledge, Clovis Evelyn Arledge and Orene Vance Arledge; her brother David Lee Arledge (Joann); and her grandson Clay Arledge (Claybo).

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Copeland; her sisters, Linda McCarver (Ronald), Shirley Haynes (Lamar) and Billie Basson; her children, Reggie Arledge (Lisa), Michael Copeland (Kim) and Tammy Oswalt (Clifford); her grandchildren, Garrett Copeland, Clint Arledge (Jenny), Cole Arledge (Brelan) and Destin Ellison (Brannon); and her great grandchildren, Bryson, Everly Ellison, Etta Arledge and Thomas Arledge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clear Creek Methodist Church.
