He was predeceased by: his mother Judith Diane Brewer; and his grandparents, Hobart Andrew, Lala Mary Stansell, William Robert and Jessie Brewer.

He is survived by: his wife Julie Brewer; his father Johnny Glenn Brewer, Sr. (Dianne); and his son Joey Rogers. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

The family will accept flowers, memorials to Southside Baptist Church or the Brain Cancer Center at UAB Hospital.
