He is survived by: his wife Minnie Milam; his sons, James Garlon Milam and Larry Milam (Rita); and his grandchildren, Noah Milam, Beth Sewell, Rhonda Shaw, Melinda Powell, Chris Milam, Dr. Manish Shah, Brent Powell and Justin Powell. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
