She is survived by: her daughter Claire Wheeler; her children-in-law, Tom Wheeler and Judy Hardy; her grandchildren, Carter, Anna Wheeler and Ryan Hardy; her sisters, Patty Gokey (Rob) and Nancy Fliss (Tom); her siblings-in-law, Michael Shadwrick and Sidney Powers (Bob); her niece Caron Hummer; and her nephews, Matt Gokey, Alex Fliss and Taylor Powers.

The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 113 Brown Avenue, Rainbow City, Alabama.
