He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thompson and Margie Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Thompson; his children, Connie Beddingfield and Mike Thompson (Terry); his grandsons, Nick Sabat, Jonathan Sabat (Crystal), Clark Thompson and Bryant Thompson (Kathleen); and his great grandchildren, Kaden Sabat, Madi Kate Sabat and Lucy Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
