He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Bohannon; his daughter Pam Estes; his son-in-law Danny Gaskey; his great grandchild Jackson Pace; his parents, Alfred Curtis Bohannon and Ruby Bohannon; his siblings, William L. Bohannon and Shelby Hales; and his niece Regina Reed.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa Gaskey and Terry Bohannon (Debbie); his son-in-law Rick Estes; his grandchildren, Alicia Gaskey, Jessica, Joseph, Erika, Emily Bohannon, Lauren Pace (Josh) and Aron Estes; his great grandchild Oliver Pace; and his nephew Kenney Sharpton (Tania).
