He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Seckel. He is survived by: his children, Richard Seckel (Marie), Debra Hutcherson (Tommy) and Jennifer Smith (Roland); and his brother Ernest Seckel (Bernice). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren along with many loving family members.
