She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jean (James), Edward Woods, Sherman Woods, Lesia Waker and Marilyn Waker; her daughter-in-law Mamie Waker of Birmingham, AL.; her stepdaughters, Dorothy Waker and Shelia Carter (Brian); her sisters-in-law, Louise Woody and Beatrice Wilson; her grandchildren, Sharn, Tonia, Edward Jr., Reginald, Marki, Deuntonius, KenLesia, Mario, Kynae, Aleik, Margaret King and Donald Morgan (Faith); her great grandchildren, Tiffany, Marshaye, Aaliyah, Wynter, Victory, Serenity, Aaron, Mauricio and Aires; her great great grandchildren, Janyla, Hamese, Amouree, Liam and Zoie; and her cousins, Estella Long, Kumye Adams, Betty Jo Gorman, Louise Rhone, Bobby, Don and Joyce Farrow.
She was the Recipient of the Norris Scholarship Foundation of Churches "Service Award", Outstanding Mother Honoree of Lambda Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
