He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Maton and Sarah Maton; his wife Mary Francis Maton; his sons, Jimmy Maton and Tony Maton; his great grandchildren, Jacob Ward and Madison Stephens; and his siblings, Johnny Paul Maton, Carliss Maton, Lucille Reeves, Mildred Jenkins, Bonnie May Grahams and Irene Maton.
He is survived by: his siblings, William Maton, Ralph Maton, Robert Lee Maton and Edna Maton; his brother-in-law Ricky Stephens; and also, Larry, Vicki Adkison, Mike and Peggy Jones. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren.
