She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund A. Hardcastle; her son Edmund A. Hardcastle, Jr.; her parents, Willian Luther Burkhalter and Naomi Koon Burkhalter; and her siblings, Lee Colyum Burkhalter, Ruby Inez Burkhalter Lokey and Erma Ruth Burkhalter Homan. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
