He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hunter and Thelma Lee Morgan; his daughter Jennifer Leigh Morgan; and his siblings, Jerome Morgan and Brenda Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Elona A. Morgan; his sons, Brandon Morgan (Meredith), Blake Amos (Lacey) and Chad Amos (Kim); his grandchildren, Tait Morgan and Elizabeth Amos; and his siblings, Mike Morgan (Sharon), Patricia Hulsey (Franklin) and Bonita Pence (Jonathan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
