He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Garrett and Jarome Garrett; and his siblings, Gerald, Ricky, Doyle Garrett and Betty Roberson.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Garrett; his daughters, Yvonne Garrett (Rob Anderson) and Christi Gottschalk; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Virginia, Abby, Julianna, Brinson, Kaeden and Wyatt; and his brother Bill Garrett (Lois).
