He is survived by: his wife Diane Swindall; his son Billy Joe Swindall Jr. (Sheene Atkinson); his stepdaughter Michelle McMurrey; and his grandchildren, Colton Swindall, Lilly Croy and Carson Croy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
