He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie Dale Battles; and his siblings, Buddy Battles, Helen Felton, Wilma Juanita Humphries and Mary Neal Glasco.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Battles (Michelle), LaDon Miller (Debra), Angie Miller, Katrina Miller and Stephanie Miller (Jesse); his nephews, Randy Rushing, Johnny Felton, James Rushing and Greg Battles; and his niece Edna P. Bagley. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
