It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Gilliland of Attalla, Alabama, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Gilliland and Dot Gilliland; and his granddaughter Hana Dumas. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gilliland; his children, Nichole Clanton (Richard) and Byron Gilliland (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Natalee Dumas, Jayden Dumas, Asher T. Gilliland and Maddyn Gilliland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
