He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Gilliland and Dot Gilliland; and his granddaughter Hana Dumas. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gilliland; his children, Nicole Clanton (Richard) and Byron Gilliland (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Natalee Dumas, Jayden Dumas, Asher T. Gilliland and Maddyn Gilliland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
