He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Brooks and Daphne Mae Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Jean Brooks of Atmore, AL; his sons, Rodney Brooks (Shannon) of Nokomis, AL and Jamie Brooks of Atmore, AL; his brother Jimmy Brooks of Perdido, AL; his sisters-in-law, Sarah Brooks, Maxine Brooks, Lillie Brooks and Collie Brooks; his grandchildren, Brad Brooks (Holly), Kevin Brooks, Jade Brooks, Ashley Priest (Nick) and Zayden Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Andelina Herrah, Nahla Brooks, Nevaeh Martell and Amaya Martell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Petty Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
