It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Ray Norman of Atmore, Alabama, born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Leighton E. Norman, Sr. (Annie Mae); his former wife Lonia Rebecca Norman; his siblings, Paul W. Norman, Carolyn Rush and Patricia Dianne Langston; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Griffey, Howard Dewitt McGhee and Gordon Dewayne McGhee.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Norman of Prattville, AL; his son Justin Norman (Amanda) of Poarch, AL; his siblings, Leighton E. Norman, Jr., Ronnie Norman, Darrell Norman, Rev. Thomas Norman, Willie Norman, Rev. Steve Norman, Judy Gale, Bobbie West and Linda Norman; his grandchildren, Tyler Sells (Danielle), Jazmine Norman, Isabella Norman and Zaiden Norman; his great grandchild Jaxstyn Sells; and his siblings-in-law, Gary McGhee, William "Boone" McGhee, Georgia Lee Griffey, Mary Boyte, Cindy Wright, Juanita Flowers and Lena White. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Friendly Holiness Church (3266 Atmosphere Rd, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
