She was predeceased by: her parents, J. O. Swindal and Virgie Mae Swindal; her significant other Sam; and her granddaughter Jessica. She is survived by: her children, Anne Sherrill (Kent), Gayle Carpenter (Steve), David (Dale) and Steve (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Samantha Graham, Lindsey Sherrill, Kate Sherrill, Meg Walston, Jason Graham, Christopher Graham, Evan Graham (Melea) and Doug Sherrill (Haley). She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
