She was predeceased by: her father Robert Pigge, Jr. (Annie Mae Driggers); her husband Troy Byrd; her siblings, Theodore Pigge, Leo Pigge, Mildred Plyler and Sylvia Garris; her granddaughter Candice Michelle Byrd; and her great grandchild Landon White.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Byrd (Betty) of Atmore, AL, Robert Byrd (Lisa) of Oak Grove, FL, Patricia Gibbs (David) of Atmore, AL and Janet Burkette (Ricky) of Mobile, AL; her siblings, Jimmy Pigge (Libby) of Cheraw, SC and Sybil Steele (Artis) of Pensacola, FL; her sister-in-law Margie Gartside (Terry) of Orlando, FL; her grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsay, Stacey, Matt, Taylor, Audrey, Kristen, Zach and Kayleigh; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Bryson, Huxley, Brayden, Kinzy, Wade, KylieAnn, Hadley, Khloe, Maverick, Skarlet and Baby McDaniel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Petty Funeral Homes (9260 US-31, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
