He was predeceased by: his parents, Kellum Purvis and Helen Lorine Chandler Purvis. He is survived by: his wife Miriam White Purvis; his children, Michael Purvis (Amy) of Pensacola, FL and Amanda Quinley (Josh) of Atmore, AL; his siblings, Donald Purvis (Debbie) of Mobile, AL, Doug Purvis (Charlotte) of Atmore, AL and Shelia Helton (James) of Perdido, AL; his grandchildren, Bradley (Brandy), Allison (Bradley), Dylan, Elizabeth, Emma, McKenzie, Gage and Sarah Kate; and his great grandchildren, Conner and River. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
