With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Fred Schlifer of Atmore, Alabama, born in Melrose, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schleifer and Irene Schleifer (Van Riper); and his siblings, DeWayne Schleifer, Eileen Jacobson (Melvin), Adeline Clatt (Henry), Rosella June and Inis May Schleifer.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Lee Schlifer (Mills) of Atmore, Alabama; his children, Cheryle Turner (Mark) of Gulf Breeze, Connie Gilbertson (Mike Nandory), Frank Schlifer of Atmore and James Schlifer of Melrose, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Jarod Turner (Corrie), Corissa Burch (Jarod), Ryane Schlifer (Erin) and Tanner Schlifer. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
