He is survived by: his wife Chip Chavis; his children, Rob Chavis (Riannon), Brian Chavis (Cherie), James Manning, Michelle Rose (Levi) and Stanley Allen Myers (Sheri); his father C. E. Chavis (Margaret); his siblings, Tami Buzbee (Charles), Cindy Wilson (David), Patsy Nall (Kenneth), Lourinda Woods and Steven Chavis (Annette); his grandson Chaz Chavis; and his great grandchild Emma Marie.
