He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Taylor and Rosa Harrison Taylor; and his siblings, Homer Taylor, Dorothy Taylor Godwin and Callie Taylor Irwin.
He is survived by: his wife Norma McCall Taylor of Atmore, AL; his children, Lynn Taylor Winters (John) of Monroeville, AL and Suzanne Taylor of Auburn, AL; his granddaughters, Mary Taylor Winters and Lucinda Ruth Johnson; and his sister Doris Gohagin (Sue) of Atmore, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, beloved family members and friends.
