We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2023, at the age of 79, John Douglas McMurphy of Atmore, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph McMurphy, Jr. and Annie Lois Glass McMurphy. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Deason (Brian) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Holly Brewer (Steven) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his brother William Joseph "Joe" McMurphy, III (Toni) of Atmore, AL; and his grandchildren, Hannah McMurphy, McKenzie Brewer and Anna Lois McMurphy. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
