We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2023, at the age of 85, Jody O. E. Posey of Atmore, Alabama, born in Moulton, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Eugene Posey (Letha Louise McDougal); his siblings, William Eugene Posey, Jr., John Wallace Posey, Letha Louise Luker and Bernice (White); and his grandson Joe Posey.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Posey of Bratt, FL; his children, Shelia Nichols, Elizabeth "Libby" Posey, Jewel Justice and Charles Posey; and his stepdaughters, Shelia Wattier (Mark) of Mobile, AL, Melody Lee (Paul) of Bratt, FL, Melinda Fountain (Wesley) of Nashville, TN and Lisa Condrey (Marvin) of Byrneville, FL. He is also survived by grandchildren, thirty great- grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
