He is survived by: his wife Joal Linette Thomas of Rabun, AL; his son Matthew Edward Thomas (Jan) of Atmore, AL; his stepdaughter Cassie Gibbs of Brewton, AL; his sister Cathy Thomas Hackney of Whitehouse Fork, AL; his nieces, Danielle and Jamie Thomas of Pensacola, FL; and his close friends, Bruce Bundy and Kathie Thompson Moore.
