She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick J. Mappin and Mary Mappin; her husbands, Richard Earl Strickland Sr. and Howard Gordon Miller Sr.; and her daughters, Carol Anderson and Barbara Haw.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Earl Strickland Jr. (Nita) of Gulf Shores, AL and Howard Gordon Miller Jr. (Tracy) of Atmore, AL. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
