It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Daniel Crawford of Atmore, Alabama, born in Monroeville, Alabama, who passed away on July 18, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurdis Daniel and Bessie Daniel; her husband Dr. John D. Crawford of Atmore, AL.; and her siblings, Eleanor Bell, David Daniel, John Daniel and Ted Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, John Crawford (Zan) of Huntsville, AL, Tom Crawford of Charleston, SC and Vida Walls (Ken) of Huntsville, AL; her daughter-in-law Christine Crawford of Charleston, SC; and her siblings, Raymond Daniel of Atmore, AL and Margaret Jaye of Orange Beach, AL.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Whitesburg Baptist Church Missions, the Downtown Rescue Mission, or Big Oak Ranch.
