He is survived by: his daughter Melinda McGhee of Stockton, Alabama; his siblings, Willis "Kent" McGhee (Tracy) of Bratt, Terry M. McGhee (Yvonne) of Poarch, George D. McGhee (Sharon) of Atmore, Alabama, Mary Jane Tullis (Eddie L.) of Poarch and Nancy M. Lowrey (Eddie) of Atmore, Alabama.; and also, LaVan Martin, Doug Martin, Jeanette Beck and Ima Jean Sheets. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Petty Funeral Homes (9260 US-31, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Judson Creek Indian Cemetery (7150 Jack Springs Rd, Atmore, AL 36502).
