It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Raymond Barnhill of Atmore, Alabama, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Rosasco Barnhill (Ruby McGhee); his son Allen Keith Barnhill; and his siblings, Edward Barnhill, Roy Lee Barnhill, Wilma Barnhill and Verna Lee Gehman.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Ray Barnhill of Poarch, AL, Steve D. Barnhill (Dana) of Molino, FL and Janet Kay Gattis (Gary) of Atmore, AL; his brothers, Dillard Wayne Barnhill of Atmore, AL and Kenneth Ray Barnhill (Evelyn) of Phillipsville, AL; and his children, Kayla Macks, Tanya Reyes, Nancy Peters and Buddy Hawkins. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home (9260 US-31, Atmore, AL 36502). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
